Chief Executive Officer
Margaret has been with HealthSouth for more than 18 years and brings more than 20 years of healthcare management experience to HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital in Dothan. She is a graduate of Georgia Southwestern University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Margaret received her master’s degree in business administration from Troy University.
Gregg A. Soifer, M.D.
Dr. Soifer became the medical director of HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital in August 2012. Prior to joining HealthSouth, he was the medical director of an acute rehabilitation facility in Arizona as well as a sub-acute rehabilitation facility. He also has served as the medical director of an outpatient clinic dedicated to injury medicine. Dr. Soifer has expertise in neuro-muscular-skeletal medicine, which includes pain and functional impairments of a wide variety of disorders, as well as expertise in balance, vertigo and dizziness. He was born and raised in New York.
Gregg A. Soifer, M.D. is an independent private practice physician whose office is located at the hospital.
Eddie Clifton CRRN, BSN
Chief Nursing Officer
Prior to joining HealthSouth, Eddie gained his nursing experience as a critical care flight nurse and has more than 12 years working in an acute care facility in which he held various management positions. Eddie is a nationally registered paramedic and he led the first Primary Stroke Center in the Wiregrass Area, which was recognized by Joint Commission as one of seven in the state of Alabama. He went on to develop and oversee an Accredited Chest Pain Center with Percutaneous Coronary intervention, as recognized by the Society of Cardiovascular Care Providers. Eddie is a graduate of Darton College in Albany, Ga. where he obtained his associates degree in nursing. He is a graduate of South University in Savannah, Ga. where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in nursing. Eddie is also a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse® (CRRN).
Director of Marketing Operations
Will has been employed with HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital since 1994. He has worked in various positions during his tenure at the hospital but has found that marketing and business development is his passion. Will is a graduate of Wallace College with an associate degree in applied science in respiratory therapy and has been a respiratory therapist for more than 20 years. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration.
Patricia A. Davis-Wharton, OT
Director of Therapy Operations
Patricia is the director of therapy operations. She has been employed at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital since 1998 and has been in a management position since 2007. She has worked in the field of occupational therapy for more than 15 years. Patricia has been instrumental in the advancement of the occupational therapy department and takes pride in providing quality care to her patients. She is certified in Interactive Metronome™ therapy, Saebo, Bioness, and NDT. Patricia received her Bachelor of Science in biology and occupational therapy from the renowned, historic Tuskegee University. In addition to her duties as the director of therapy operations, she provides treatments at the hospital on an inpatient and outpatient basis.
Kristina Dillard Davis, MS HRM
Director of Human Resources
Kristina brings almost 10 years of experience in human resources management to HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital. She oversees all areas of human resources, such as recruitment and retention. Kristina is a graduate of Troy University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and her master’s degree in human resource management also from Troy University. Kristina is member of the Wiregrass Human Resource Management Society and the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce.
Wanda Morales, CRRN, MSN
Director of Quality and Risk Management
Wanda has been with HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital since 1998 and brings more than 30 years of experience in the field of nursing and healthcare management. She graduated from Providence School of Nursing with her associate degree in nursing. Wanda later attended Troy University in Dothan and Montgomery where she obtained her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing. Wanda is also a certified rehabilitation registered nurse (CRRN®).
Arvelia Reynolds, CRRN, RN
Director of Case Management
AJ brings more than 20 years of combined case management and nursing experience to HealthSouth rehabilitation services. Prior to joining HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital, she gained her case management and nursing experience in various healthcare settings in which she also held management positions. AJ obtained her associate degree in nursing from Wallace College. She is also a certified rehabilitation registered nurse (CRRN®).
Jeremy Tolbert, CPA
Jeremy is a certified public accountant and has 17 years experience in accounting and financial management. Prior to joining HealthSouth, Jeremy was a controller in the private sector. Jeremy received his bachelor's degree in accounting from Troy University and his master's degree in business administration from Auburn University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of CPA's.
